Information about Beaming Books: 

Beaming Books publishes high-quality children’s books that help kids thrive in every part of who they are—emotionally, socially, and spiritually. With topics ranging from self-esteem to kindness, ethics, and faith, our books are designed to spark the imagination and equip kids and families to live full and flourishing lives, together.

We acquire books for ages 0-12, in the following categories: picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, and nonfiction for all ages.

We publish books with progressive Christian themes as well as values-based books for the general children’s market. In all categories, here are examples of some of the topics that might catch our interest: kindness and ethics, emotional well-being, creativity and courageous living, contemporary social issues, childhood milestones, and problems relevant to kids like friendship, bullying, self-confidence, and family dynamics. Whatever the topic, we want to see proposals that connect the subject matter to spirituality or the ways that human beings make meaning. Tones ranging from silly to serious and everything in between are all welcome!

For picture books, please send a full manuscript; for longer books, please send a sample of no more than 3000 words plus synopsis and/or table of contents. If you are an author-illustrator, be sure to include illustration samples as well.

We accept electronic submissions only through this site or directly by agents to our acquisitions editors. Do not mail hard copies.
